What I Got For Christmas | 2015

If you're nosey (like me!) and like to see what people got for Christmas stick around!!

Personally I do a lot of blog and channel stalking on Boxing Day mainly to find out what everyone got for Christmas! I don't know what it is about this kind of post/video but I do really love to see what other people wanted/received for Christmas - and now that I have a blog I get to join in too!!

I was extremely lucky this year and was spoiled by both my family and my lovely boyfriend and I am so grateful! Not only for the lovely gifts but also the fact that they made the day so special and festive! So, I've put together a little bunch featuring some of the presents I think you'd enjoy seeing the most! (This, of course, doesn't mean that I love my other presents any less!)

Disclaimer: I know most of you won't get offended, but I feel like it's important for me to write a quick disclaimer just to let you know that I am not writing this blog post to brag in any way! If you feel like you might take offence from the post, please go and read something else! - or come back soon because I am planning on doing a Lush haul!!

I think I should also mention that I am writing this at super speed on Boxing Day morning before my family get here! So apologies for any mistakes and if the post is quite short - I am limited for time!

ILAMASQUA HIGHLIGHT | AURORA

The first thing I received from my lovely boyfriend! And it was a complete surprise! Every year we both make each other a small wish list and pick a few presents from the list to get each other (because we are both terrible and picking gifts for each other!) I added this to my list but didn't get my hopes up because it's quite expensive and I know my boyfriend doesn't tend to like to buy me makeup! When I saw the size of the wrapped up present I was so excited and happy because it's been on my shopping list for about a year, since my friend let me borrow it for a night out! This highlight it GORGEOUS it does such a great job at highlighting your cheek bones and has the perfect glow! - I can't wait to use it!

SOCKS

I think every year I get a new pair of socks - which I love! I get through socks so much because my cold feet means that I am constantly wearing them! Actually, those slipper socks were pretty much the only think on my Christmas list to 'Father Christmas' I feel like these will come in super handy because I'm always wearing ballet pumps!

CANDLES

I also got some candles for Christmas which is perfect because I seem to be constantly burning one! These are all Christmas scented - bonus! I got 'Cosy by The Fire' in the larger jar. And 'Christmas Treats' and 'Christmas Baking' in the little mini candles! I can't wait to burn those smaller ones in the kitchen because I feel like they are the perfect kitchen scent!

MUG CAKES

I actually put this on my wish list for my boyfriend and instead got it from 'Father Christmas'! Because I'm more into baking this year I've started a small collection of cook/baking books and I can now add this little one to the collection! I also can't wait to make a few of these, although to be honest when I looked through the book the mugs caught my attention first!

CHOCOLATE!

Whats a Christmas without chocolate! I want to lie and say I got enough chocolate to last me the year, but I don't think it will last me that long to be honest!! My older brother got me a Cadbury's chocolate hamper which is perfect because I'm obsessed with Cadbury's! This has all the classics in and comes in a cute purple hamper! Can't wait to get into this!

There you have it! That's what I got for Christmas! If you've done a blog post similar to this I would love to read it (because I'm nosey!) So you can either leave a link in the comments below or tweet me on my new twitter handle @jemmasimplelife x

I hope you all had a lovely Christmas and enjoy your Boxing day!
