Products I Can't Live Without

To be honest I'm not the biggest makeup lover and sitting down to do this post I realised that there are actually quite a few products that I own that I could honestly live without... I don't know if this is a good or a bad thing..? But nonetheless, I managed to pull together a few odd bits that I have loved using and that I tend to go out and buy again after I've used it all up!

SOAP AND GLORY | PEACHES AND CLEAN CLEANSER

When I'm not feeling lazy and decide to step away from makeup wipes and give my face the deep clean it deserves I love using this cleanser from Soap and Glory! It claims to be a 4 in 1 cleanser which purifies, dissolves makeup, energizes and smooths and to be honest I feel like it really does do all of these things. When I take off my makeup with this cleanser my face feels so refreshed and clean and also did I mention it smells like peaches - BONUS! If you are a regular makeup wipe user and you would like to branch out I highly recommend using a cleanser because it's much more beneficial for your skin and you can really tell a difference!

RIMMEL | WAKE ME UP CONCEALER

This concealer I have been using for years and I don't think I will ever stop buying this.. honestly you're going to get so bored of me mentioning this in like every beauty post. I feel like this is a huge cult classic because it's just simply amazing. It gives you great coverage without looking to cakey or unnatural and gives your face the lift it needs! I love using this concealer even on 'no makeup' days where I can't be bothered to put anything on.. just to cover those eye bags..

THE BODY SHOP | INSTA-BLUR EYE PRIMER

Looking back to before I was welcomed to the world of eye primers I feel like I was very naive to the many many benefits of using eye primers! This particular one from The Body Shop is my favourite ever and is one that I go back and buy again and again - whenever I use this primer I feel like my eye makeup goes on so much better and stays on my face for so much longer. I have quite oily skin and my eyes tend to water a lot so my makeup, particularly on my eyes, tends to come off quite easily, but I feel like when I wear this primer it really helps to keep everything in place.

NO7 | EYELASH CURLER

This one if sort of a cheat because it isn't really a makeup item.. well I suppose it is, but you know what I mean. If I had to give you one thing that really annoys me about putting on makeup I would say my eyelashes - they seem to just poke out at completely the wrong angle and just look generally weird, they're also really short which doesn't help anything. So, for the past 3 years I've had to curl my eyelashes every day I wear makeup, without fail, as part of my makeup routine! There's nothing particularly special about the No7 eyelash curlers because I feel like they pretty much all do the same job but these have lasted me for a fair few years and I really should replace them sooner rather than later!

  1. I love the Rimmel Wake Me Up concealer for my under eye circles. I'm still on the hunt for a good concealer that covers spots. I've not really tried any body shop beauty products to be honest, might see if I can grab a sample of their primer!

    1. Me too! I get really bad under eye circles - so it's perfect for me! I also have yet to find a good concealer for spots!! I had never tried The Body Shop's makeup either, and to be honest I've only ever tried this primer from them - but it would probably be worth having a look at what else they have to offer! X

  4. I've tried the Wake me Up foundation from Rimmel but not the concealer. I'll check it out next time I'm in the drugstore.
