Haul | A Teenie Tiny Lush Haul

On my trip to London with my Mum I was lucky enough to go into the Oxford Street Lush, it was my first ever time in that store and as a huge Lush-aholic it was complete and utter heaven! We spent probably about an hour in there and I only really got to look at a few areas of the shop - I mainly stuck around the bubble bar and shower gel sections! But I honestly could have spent all day long in there! There was so much to look at, and all the displays are just amazing! My Mum wanted me to pick out a few bits for my birthday so after browsing the bubble bar section for around 40 minutes I chose two bubble bars that are both Oxford Street exclusive so I had never seen before anywhere else and I was definitely excited to show you guys!! Also, I haven't gotten around to using either of them yet, so I can't really give you much of a review but I will be doing a review post on both of these, with pictures - so if you're interested in picking these up yourself you can get a proper look at them!

Also, Happy Easter!! Sorry, I don't have a more Easter-y post for you guys, but I haven't really had the time to bake anything with mini-eggs or creme eggs! (trust me, I wish I did - that sounds delicious!!) But if you would like to get in the Easter spirit you can click here to see my recent review of the Lush Easter collection - complete with daffodils and eggs! (After you read this post, of course!!)

The first bubble bar I picked up is called Little Dragon, now you know I'm a sucker for reusable bath wands so I knew I definitely had to grab one of these (actually it was a tough decision between this one and the Cherry Blossom reusable bath wand) I just love how they usually last me around 5-6 baths, so you really get a good deal for your money! Obviously, I'm drawn to all things glitter so I was immediately sucked in by this cute little dragon, also I love how the design is so different from anything I've ever seen in Lush!! Apparently, this bar is made from cinnamon, clove and ginger - so all very Christmas-y scents to me, which I don't hate, you know how much I love my Christmas scents.. even if it is spring. I can definitely smell the ginger in this product, which I am definitely in love with and I honestly can't wait to get back into the Christmas spirit when I take this bath.. is that weird, I don't know..?

I was also recommended by one of the lovely ladies in the shop to pick up the Sunflower bubble bar, she told me that she often goes over to the bubble bar section just to have a sniff of this bubble bar, and although that might seem a bit weird, I can honestly see why! (if you're ever in the Oxford Street Lush, give it a good sniff!!!) I was told that this bubble bar is a newbie for this year, but has proven to be very popular, which doesn't surprise me in the slightest! One thing that really made me choose this bubble bar was it's size, it is honestly huge, definitely the biggest bath product I have ever bought from Lush - I reckon I could get it to last me around 4-5 baths from it, which is quite rare for normal sized bubble bars (so once again, amazing value for money!) Another thing that really made me fall in love with this bubble bar was the colour and the design, it's decorated with sun dried flowers and is such a vibrant yellow - I don't even know if I can bring myself to use it, I would much rather hang it on my wall or something..?! It has a strong scent of lemon and all things citrus, which is one scent that I've always been drawn to with Lush products, it just smells so fresh and clean and I love it!

There you have it! I hope you enjoyed the quickest haul post I have ever written (?!) I honestly can't to try both of these products, but at the same time I'm kind of nervous, because I know I won't be going back to Oxford Street for a while - what if I really fall in love with them?! Let me know if you've ever tried any of the Oxford Street exclusives, I would love to know!

** Ooh! Also, I'm planning a Q&A post sometime soon, so if you have any questions at all that you'd like to ask me fire them at me on twitter (@jemmasimplelife) or in the comments and I might just answer it in that post! Thanks guys! x

  2. I can't believe you didn't even get around all of the sections, that actually sounds like heaven! I think my boyfriend would be bored out of his mind if I dragged him in, and we'd definitely have to do some saving up before I headed in

    1. Me either - would've loved to have had a go in the 'Fun' section since I've never really played around with that stuff, but it was jam-packed in there!! Luckily, I was with my Mum, so she kept herself occupied, but definitely agree that my boyfriend would also get so so bored!! And yes! Definitely save up beforehand - it's the best place to have a massive splurge!! x

  6. I am going to London in May, and I cannot wait to go to this store! All the way from America just to go to a Lush haha I have always heard that they have things select to that store, and they definitely do not have these in my local store here! So jealous, you should do a review of the dragon one, it looks so cool!
