First Ever Q&A (Probably Not The Last...)

First of all, thanks so much to everyone who asked me questions - I was honestly a bit skeptical to even do a Q&A because I wasn't sure if anyone would be interested in asking me anything!! I do love a good Q&A post though, because it gets you guys involved and helps me to know what you actually want me to talk about! So thanks for all your help! Also, let me know if this is something you would like to do in the future - and if you didn't get a chance to ask me a question this time, add me on twitter @jemmasimplelife so that you know exactly when I'm doing the next one!! You should also go and follow all of the gorgeous people who asked me questions, because they're all sweet hearts!

Anyways... on to the questions!

I think I've spoken a little about this before on my blog, but I've always had quite an obsession with photography and also reading other blogs (like Poppy Deyes, Zoella etc.) and that really made me want to give it a go! I thought I would struggle to write anything, since I always find it difficult to write essays and assignments for uni, but I always tend to ramble (as you all probably know!) I am so glad that I started blogging though, because I was getting so bored in the same routine, and now I have a hobby that I really love and I know I'll stick at!

This is a prime example of why you should tell your brother your twitter handle!! And obviously I could never choose between you and Alanna - so I'm not answering this one!!

Okay, so I've never really had a favourite animal because I haven't really given it much thought - but if I had to choose one it would probably be something cute like a red panda, purely because they are so cute!! My favourite ice cream flavour is 100% Häagen-Dazs cookies and cream! It always used to Ben and Jerry's cookie dough, but I'm not the hugest fan of vanilla icecream - and let's be honest, after you've eaten all the cookie dough, the vanilla ice cream is all left over!! But the Häagen-Dazs cookies and cream all tastes like cookies and it's so so good!!

First of all, I love this question so so much and I honestly thought for way to long about this one! I'm stuck between either pastel blue or pastel pink - so maybe I could have an ombre effect or something! I would be the coolest unicorn there was! ahah!

This is suck a tricky question but the first film that came to mind is Titanic - I've watched it genuinely over a thousand times and I feel like I will never get bored of it, I guess because it's so long and I mean, Leonardo DiCaprio... Another film that I love and will never get bored of is Confessions of a Shopaholic, I honestly watched this every day when I got home from school when I was younger and I think I actually wanted to be Isla Fisher - she's so gorgeous! As for the third film, maybe a comedy like Bridesmaids, which I have also watched over a million times! I feel like I've got a few different genres, so I genuinely would never get bored of them... hopefully!

I don't really have any talents at all, so I guess my desire would be to have a talent, I haven't quite decided what I want that talent to be yet though. Probably either to be able to play the piano really well, or to be able to bake as well as Zoella - purely so I can take some really good blog photos of all my bakes! I just don't have the time or effort to be able to achieve either of those things. Annoyingly, I used to do piano lessons when I was really young and I had to quit when we moved house - I would be so good by now!!

I'm not even ashamed to admit that my biggest obsession was Glee... to the point where I would wake myself up a 2am so that I could livestream the latest episode while it was live in America! I also had a twitter account dedicated to Glee (that, I am a little ashamed to admit!!) and I had an unhealthy obsession with all of the characters! I actually used to draw collage style pictures of little things that happened in each episode and my walls were COVERED with these drawings.. the obsession was bad!! haha!

Now that I have lived in both a rural area and also in a big city, I definitely have decided that I prefer cities because I get way too bored in the countryside where there is literally nothing to do! So I would love to live in a bigger city, probably London because I literally fall in love with that place every time I visit! ... Not that I could ever afford it though!

1- My phone, which is weird because I genuinely went around 2 years without a phone a few years ago and I didn't even really want one! But now that I've got it back, I don't think I could give it up again - I literally never take my eyes off of it anymore and it's so bad!
2 - YouTube, I was saying this the other day on Twitter - I have no clue what I did with myself before I discovered YouTube. Now, whenever I'm bored I just go on over to YouTube and I'm instantly entertained!
3 - Carbs! Carbs are my biggest weakness but they are genuinely the best kind of food! When I'm bored, I eat and when I eat, I eat carbs!

I haven't actually done that many reviews for brands, since I'm still quite new to blogging but my favourite so far is definitely my Firmoo glasses! They came at just the right time before the sun came out for Spring, so I genuinely haven't stopped using them since they've been sent to me! I also really love anything beauty related since I am a huge beauty product lover and I love discovering new brands and new products that I wouldn't have tried without the opportunity!

I am such a perfectionist when it comes to my blog, and the thing I struggle with the most is blog photography - so I would probably say that's what I dislike the most! At the same time though, I love taking photos and photography is a huge hobby of mine, it's just when it doesn't turn out the way I want it to, then I get frustrated! But I guess practice makes perfect and I am getting better so I always try to stick at it!

  2. This was such a great post! I love Q&A's but I'm always afraid that nobody will asked me anything haha. Zoella was the first blogger I read and she is probably the one that encourage me to do this.. so clap with me haha. Confessions of a Shopaholic is such a easy movie to see, fun and relax, you don't get tired of it! And I totally get you with the photography one but I think your photos are great!
