How To | 50 Ways To Stress Less

Dare I say it, but dreaded exams are on the way! In fact, a lot of you probably have exams this week... (sorry for bringing it up!!) I don't want to rub it in, but I am one of the lucky ones who doesn't actually have any exams this year - but don't worry, trust me when I say I have had my fair share of stress over exams... So I definitely know how you're all feeling! I thought now would be the perfect time to share a list of my ideas for ways to de-stress and relax when times get a bit tough.. since I feel like a lot of us get caught up in daily stresses and forget how important is it to just have a little 'me time' just to relax and become human again!! So here is my list of 50 ways you can de-stress today!

  1. Go for a 10 minute walk. 
  2. Light a candle. 
  3. Eat a healthy snack... 
  4. Or treat yourself to an unhealthy treat! 
  5. Buy a houseplant! 
  6. Spend time with a pet. 
  7. Hug a loved one! 
  8. Play some music. 
  9. Dance like no one is watching! 
  10. Put away electronics and read a good book. 
  11. YouTube! 
  12. Bake your favourite recipe!
  13. Spend time with your best friend. 
  14. Do some yoga. 
  15. Exercise. 
  16. Do some crafts or DIY! 
  17. Meditate. 
  18. Get some well deserved sleep. 
  19. Drink some green tea. 
  20. Get a massage. 
  21. Go to a spa. 
  22. Have a pamper night at home! 
  23. Pop on a face mask. 
  24. Hop in a bath filled with a cocktail of Lush products! 
  25. Do an adult colouring book. 
  26. Watch your favourite movie!

Anyway, there you guys go! I quite like writing list posts, so let me know if that's something you enjoy too and I'll hopefully do more, if it's something you like!! I also hope you find these little tips helpful - I have definitely used a lot of them in the past and they usually help me (I'm looking at number 4!!) Also, if you guys do have exams, I hope they go well for you, I know you'll do amazingly well! But try not to stress out too much because stressing and worrying won't do you any good.. so don't worry your little heads off! As always, thanks for reading guys!

  2. Love these! I try to do many of them, especially the walking and yoga. Generally, I find exercise and getting up to move a great de-stresser. A good cup of tea also helps too. :)

    1. Walking and yoga have always worked for me, so they're definitely worth a try! :) I'm not a huge fan of tea, but I can see why that would be great for de-stressing! x

  7. Time with a pet really does help! I always lay around with my dog when feeling a bit down, animals are so stress free, and overjoyed by the simplest things. It's inspiring and truly uplifting! Thank you for this, sometimes I forget how many wonderful but simple things I can do when having a stressful day.

  8. I loved reading this post, these are really good tips! What helps me most is planning something with a friend, baking or reading. I also got an adult colouring books and I love it, it's almost like meditation. Oh and if nothing helps, then chocolate is definitely the answer. ;) xx
