Brighton Haul | feat. Tiger & Lush

So we made a cheeky trip to Brighton on my latest day off, I felt like I really needed to make the most of it since my days off are rare and days off when Ethan's not working are even rarer, but we had an amazing day and really enjoyed ourselves out in the sunshine - I will be doing a post in the near future featuring my summer days out so keep an eye for this one if you want to know what we got up to in Brighton! Obviously I couldn't go to Brighton without spending a little bit of money, especially when we went into Tiger, which I absolutely adore! So I thought I would share my little haul with you lot (yes I'm aware my last 2 posts have also been hauls.. can you tell I've been paid, lol!) I didn't buy a crazy amount but the things I've got are worth sharing so why not! Let me know what your favourite bits are from this haul and also let me know what you've been up to this summer since I would love to have a little catch up and see what you've all be doing with yourselves!

TIGER - MINT GREEN BOX // ...I thought Id start with the most exciting thing... yes it's a box! Basically I needed a box to store all my cards since I've created quite a collection of cute cards recently and I've had no where to put them at all so they've sort of been lurking everywhere in the house.. oops! But now they've got a home and a cute home at that - I was on the hunt for some sort of cute box that is more substantial than a regular cardboard one which inevitable just end up breaking overtime and I think I managed to find one that makes the cut! This one from Tiger is made of plastic so is much more sturdy than your regular box, it fits my cards really nicely although I do have to lie them down inside the box, instead of standing them up so you can see them all clearly (which is what I had hoped I could do!) as it isn't as tall as I first thought, however I'm still happy with it! The only thing that I will say to anyone who is interested in this box is that the lid doesn't close shut, it just sort of sits on top of the box.. just so you guys know! But for £4 I can look past that, haha! Ooh and they also have an off-pink salmon sort of colour if you're interested in that! (Also, I am only just realising now that silly me didn't include a picture of this box...it's honestly not that interesting so I hope you're all okay with that, haha!)

TIGER - PAPER STRAWS! // Something equally as exciting as the box I'm sure, but there is actually a reason behind these straws and I mean they're so cute so why not pick them up right! Basically, I was looking for some cute straws before I go on holiday in August because the plan is to make some homemade cocktails while we're there so now I can pop my cute little straw in and it's Instagram/blog ready! I've actually always wanted some really cute paper straws because you always see them on Instagram, but I've always just kind of settled for boring plastic ones that aren't in any fun colours let alone metallic! These ones are bloody gorgeous, I got mine in gold and blue, but I'm pretty sure they sell other colours - possibly pink! As sad as it makes me sound I can't wait to get on holiday and make my mojito with my cute little paper straw.. you can bet there'll be loads of pictures so look out for those if you're interested haha!

TIGER - MAN PRINT // I actually saw this adorable man in one of Gabbie's (Velvetghost) vlogs on YouTube and when I saw him in Tiger I seriously had to have him.. isn't he just so cute?! Whilst in Tiger me and my boyfriend had a little epiphany where we decided that enough is enough and we seriously need to fill that white space above our bed, I mean it's been blank now for over 9 months and we haven't ever decided on a good enough picture to fill the space - so we've now decided that we're going to try and create a  picture wall with a collage of cute artsy prints and quotes and colourful pictures and then fill it with fairy lights and other bits and bobs! This little man is the first addition to the wall so he's kind of special I suppose! Tiger is definitely a good place to start if you're looking to create your own picture wall, they have loads of prints like this and other colourful ones that come pre-framed and they're so cheap as well! Also, if you're interested in this particular art style they have loads of cute people in loads of different sizes!

TIGER - FLAMINGO PRINT // The second addition to our picture wall was the colourful little flamingo! I really wanted to add colour to the picture wall and I feel like this is a good place to start - I absolutely love the blue/green shade against the pink and really can't wait to buy more prints to fit in with this sort of colour scheme... I may have already made a cheeky little order...oops! This one is also A4 (so slightly larger than the man) so will definitely help to fill out the huge blank spot we have on our wall! If you're interested in this cute flamingo it also comes with a yellow background - which I very nearly picked up! And also it comes in a larger size.. I don't know the exact sizing of that one but I know that it's bigger (sorry, I'm not very helpful!)

LUSH - THE MODFATHER BUBBLE BAR // I couldn't pass by Lush without going in and having a look could I! I don't want to say that I've been going off Lush recently, but let's just say that even though I'm running low on bubble bars I managed to go into my local Lush and actually not find anything that I wanted to take home - shock horror, I know, haha! I guess I just don't have as many baths in the summer months, I much prefer a quick shower! Nevertheless, I did want to pick up The Modfather as this is one I haven't tried before.. I believe it was new in for Fathers Day. The scent is pretty nice, it's a very citrusy scent, so definitely something more tapered towards summer months which I love! The only thing I will say is that it is super duper small compared to the other regular bubble bars - this means that you probably need to use the whole thing to get the same amount of bubbles that a regular one would give you if you broke a bit off! Ahh well, it's worth giving it a go, the reviews I've read are pretty positive so I definitely can't wait to try it!

?? - 2X CARD PRINTS // Okay I've tried remembering for ages and I can't for the life of me remember what the shop was called where I bought these cute card quote prints.. it was in one of those little trinket shops in the arches on Brighton seafront and to be honest we went in pretty much all of those so they all kind of blurred into one! Obviously although these are cards that can be sent out (which was almost an idea but I decided these are far to pretty not to put on the wall.. sorry Zoe (my no#1 card receiver!) these are also planning to go on our little picture wall and I absolutely love these cute little quotes and can't wait to get them up on our wall - I'm a sucker for quotes and I'm actually surprised that Ethan agreed to let me put these on the wall because let's just say he's less of a fan of those 'cheesy' quotes! I'm not complaining!!
