Update #13 | Merry Christmas... almost!

I feel like I need to apologise in advance for my lack of festivity in the post... because I'm actually writing this a few days before Christmas eve and I'm not feeling very festive to say the least! I'm sure I won't be saying that this time tomorrow though because I will finally be done with work and I can actually have a break - starting work at 4am every single day this week has been so tiring! I can't wait to finally sit down with a hot chocolate and start feeling really Christmas-y! So, for today's post, after the results of the poll I ran on twitter I've decided to write a new Christmas tag. (It was draw between The Christmas tag and Christmas baking and I literally have to time for Christmas baking.. so I took the easier option, haha!) I actually did a Christmas tag a year ago and surprise surprise it's super cringey... but you can read that here if you really want to! But yeah, I decided to write a new, updated one for obvious reasons - I'm also going to answer different questions (that I found here!) to switch it up a bit and my answers are definitely short and sweet because I'm super rushed for time! Feel free to answer them on your own blog but make sure you share me your link, I'd love to read them! I also hope you all have a lovely Christmas, filled with cosiness and loads of food! I won't be posting on the 26th, but I'll be back on the 28th so see you all on the other side!

Q:Use one noise/word to describe how excited you are for Christmas.
A:At the moment I'm more of a 'hmmmm' but tomorrow I'll definitely be more 'gahh!!' ... haha!

Q:Do you open any presents on Christmas Eve?
A: No! Presents are strictly for Christmas day in my house!

Q:What holiday traditions are you looking forward to most this year?
A: Every year on Christmas eve, me and my Mum do loads of baking! I'm definitely excited for that!

Q:Is your Christmas tree real or fake?
A:Unfortunately it's fake.. but I would seriously love a real one!

Q:What is your favourite Christmas film?
A:Probably The Holiday, I watch it every year!

Q:Where do you usually spend your holiday?
A:My Mums house, but I also pop over to my Dads for a second Christmas with my little sister!

Q:What is your favourite Christmas song?
A:Last Christmas, although I've heard it over and over and over at work so now it's beginning to get on my nerves a bit!

Q:What is your all-time favourite holiday food/sweet treat?
A: Probably candy canes! We always have them hanging on our tree, but they don't last long!

Q:Be honest: do you like giving gifts or receiving gifts better?
A:Without sounding cliche I prefer giving gifts.. wrapping them up and making them look cute is fun!

Q:What is your favourite thing about Christmas?
A:I guess just how happy it makes everyone - everyones so jolly and festive over Christmas and I love it!

Q:When do you start getting excited for Christmas?
A:Honestly... when Halloween has ended - I'm definitely obsessed! (You can read all about that here!)

Q:What is the best Christmas gift you’ve ever received?
A:Probably my camera, I received it like 5 years ago and I still use it to this day to take blog photos - so I've got a lot of use out of it!

Q:What is the worst present you’ve ever received?
A: I genuinely can't think of a gift I didn't like...?!

Q:As a kid, did a sibling ever receive a present that you wished was for you?
A: This wasn't when I was a kid, but my sister recieved one of those password journal things a few years ago and it was ALWAYS on my Christmas list. I never got it - not fair, haha!

Q:What would be your dream place to visit for the holiday season?
A:I'm not really sure where but I know I would love to stay in a little cabin! Somewhere with a fireplace and an endless supply of hot chocolate!

Q:Do you make New Years resolutions? Do you stick to them?
A: I never stick to my goals.. so now I don't set resolutions.. haha!
