Update #21 | Wales Holiday Snaps

I feel like its raining today just to make me feel some serious holiday blues because almost a week ago I was on holiday in Wales enjoying the sunshine and having a great time! The end of our holiday kind of marked the end of the summer, which is a bit sad - although for me that doesn't mean I have to go back to school or uni anymore (woo, thank god!) it does mean that I have to start some serious job hunting.. ugh boring. I'm also taking this rain as a sign that it is now socially acceptable to put up my Autumn decor, lol.. so I'm definitely getting my Autumn decor box out at some point soon! We actually tidied ou the cupboard under the stairs the other day and I found the box and it literally smells like last Autumn it brought back so many memories - I cant wait to get those candles out again! But yes, I had a really amazing week away with my lovely family and I wanted to share some of my favourite pictures from the trip...me and Ethan took literally a thousand, oops! I actually did the same thing last year where I shared pictures from my holiday to Cornwall if you want to go and have a read of that one you can find it here!

So we stayed in a really beautiful house kind of in the middle of nowhere in a lovely village called Beulah (which I still can't pronounce.. like every other Welsh place name...lol) near Aberporth which has a really gorgeous beach! The house was actually pretty modern, which is a huge change to some of the holiday houses we've stayed in before which were cute but old and a little bit creepy, haha - so I was actually able to get a good nights sleep every single night.. compared to last year where I didn't sleep well at all in that creepy bedroom! The house also had wifi (can I get a hallelujah?!) and an amazing hot tub, (which we spent pretty much every single evening in) so we were pretty much set with everything we could ever need, haha!

We explored quite a few of the gorgeous places nearby too, including many many beaches which meant I had tonnes of reading time on the beach (I actually finished The Keeper Of Lost Things by Ruth Hogan and started Meet Me At Beachcomber Bay by Jill Mansel - you can read what I though about them in my latest book haul!) and all of them were sandy which makes me so happy because I'm used to the rubbish pebble beaches we have here in Portsmouth! We all spent loads of time in the sea  (well I did, because I was the only one who was woman enough to brave the cold water, haha!) which was loads of fun! We also explored Cilegerran castle and went to Oakwood Themepark and on the way home we made a quick stop at Barry Island where we probably offended everyone by quoting Gavin and Stacey in terrible Welsh accents.. oops lol! But yeah, I had such an amazing time and I want to go back so badly - ugh! I hope you enjoyed this really quick post and this little snippet into my holiday, let me know if you went anywhere nice for your summer holiday in the comments below so I can get really jealous and sulk because it's raining outside, haha!
