Book Wishlist #2

How has it been two months since my last book wishlist?! I have no idea where that time has gone, but anyways... here I am with another book wishlist post because it's about time I shared a few more of the books that are on my ever growing wish list - I feel like its growing super super quickly recently too, since I have been able to treat myself to any new books recently! (By the way, if you want to see more of the books that are on my wishlist and keep up to date on what I'm currently reading and bits like that we need to be friends on Goodreads - you can find me here!) As you'll know from my recent book posts (like my October TBR and Spooky Book Recommendations) I have been reading purely spooky-ish books this month in celebration of Halloween so, as much as I'm enjoying getting in the spooky spirit, it was quite refreshing to pick out some less scary books to add to this wishlist.. I mean I obviously added a few thrillers because I'm stubborn and completely obsessed with thriller books! Let me know what you're reading or what's on your wishlist in the comments below, so I can add all your favourites to my list - I always love recommendations, even if it means my wishlist is overflowing!

The Sudden Appearance of Hope - Claire North | Ink - Alice Broadway | Window - Amelia Brunskill | Did You See Melody - Sophie Hannah | The One Memory of Flora Banks - Emily Barr | Panic - Lauren Oliver | There's Someone Inside Your House - Stephanie Perkins | They Both Die at The End - Adam Silvera | Genuine Fraud - E. Lockhart | We Are Okay - Nina LaCour | The Thing With Feathers - McCall Hoyle

Since reading and falling in love with Caraval by Stephanie Garber, I've opened my eyes to fantasy a little bit more which is honestly a genre I tried to stay away from in the past due to my lack of imagination! But I definitely had to add these fantasy reads to my wishlist since both of them sound like such interesting concepts... Ink is set in world where every significant thing that happens in a persons life is tattooed onto their body forever and when they die their tattoos are put into a skin book (which sounds gross by the way, haha!) so that they are remembered forever. All of this sounds so interesting to me... and if that wasn't enough the cover is gorgeous, so it of course deserves a spot high up on my wishlist! The Sudden Appearance of Hope sounds amazing too as the main character, Hope, is instantly forgotten by people when they turn away from her and when they turn back they see a stranger! The whole concept of her life sounds super interesting, like the fact that she can't hold a job or even apply for one because she's immediately forgotten as soon as she leaves the interview! The reviews I've read also really seem to love this book too, so I can't wait to delve into this one!

Having read purely spooky books all October, I can't wait to get back to a few simple contemporary reads - so I obviously added a few to the list! The One Memory of Flora Banks is one that I definitely want to get to soon and also They Both Die at The End sounds like such an interesting concept for a book and I've heard some really good reviews about it too.

And despite reading only spooky/mystery books all October, I am still clearly very obsessed with everything thriller-ish and dark so those books make up most of my wishlist.. as per usual, haha! I'm particularly in the mood for mysteries at the moment - so Window, Genuinue Fraud and The Hundred Lies of Lizzie Lovett are books I am super excited to get my hands on soon!
