Things To Look Forward To In 2018

I did one of these last year and I guess you could say all of my wishes came true, because I accomplished everything I set out to do - I handed in my dissertation, I graduated, I blogged tonnes and most importantly.. I bought my dining table, haha! 2017 was pretty good to me and I probably had one of the most successful years of my life! So I decided that this year I want to carry on the tradition and write my list of things to look forward to in 2018. Although my year isn't quite as packed as last year, since I've now finished uni and I have a full time job - I'm still super excited for everything 2018 has to bring! As usual, feel free to share your own lists in the comments below, I'd love to know what you're looking forward to this year!

LEARN MORE FROM MY JOB! // So back in October I started my new job as a teaching assistant in a reception class and I feel super lucky to have found a job that I genuinely love doing (especially since I'm basically the opposite of a workaholic!) every single child in my class is just so so lovely and they make every second I spend at work worth it! Having a degree in early childhood studies, I really love applying the knowledge I already have to my everyday working life, but I get to learn more and more from my job every single day too! So, something I really look forward to this year is just learning more from my job - the teachers and even the children just teach me so much every day and I love it!

I GET TO SING THAT TAYLOR SWIFT SONG! // If you have no idea what I'm talking about I basically turn 22 this year... and I've been waiting an embarrassing number of years to be able to dance around to 'I DON'T KNOW ABOUT YOU BUT I'M FEELING 22' on my 22nd birthday.. so I'm definitely looking forward to that moment, haha!

MAYBE ANOTHER TATTOO...? // I got my first tattoo last year in July and after discovering the pain is so worth it I realised that I might want another one..! I've actually been playing around with a few ideas.. I'm thinking something bookish since I've become a huge bibliophile as of last year and I'm hoping that maybe I might make the decision on what I actually want to get this year!

WEEKENDS. // Now that I have a full time job in a school I officially have my weekends back - thank god for that! I can't wait to spend more cosy weekends in with Ethan in the colder months and also have some weekend adventures out in the sun during the summer! Speaking of which, I'm hoping to plan a weekend away very very soon to celebrate Ethan's birthday which was back on 31st December! We're looking into spa weekends or maybe somewhere cosy.. so obviously very much looking forward to that!

MORE BLOGGING! // It's no secret that my full time job has definitely made it difficult for me to write regular blog posts - but I'm hoping to work through that by giving myself a more realistic schedule and bulk writing posts.. since I did really miss blogging during my break and it is genuinely something I love doing! I also hope to work with more brands this year since I was given some really amazing opportunities last year, particularly my amazing day out in London thanks to byMe Lifestyle!

  3. This sounds like such an incredible year for you, it's amazing that you've found a job that you love and are so keen to learn more about it! I have to say, having no weekends is so difficult, it's hard to have something to look forward to so that's great that you've got those back! xx
